Interior trim Wanted
Does anybody have any Beige Javelin trim for a 1950 PC standard Javelin that I can beg or borrow? I could do with a complete set in total including the boarded trim to the foot wells. Either give me a ring or Email me via Jowettalk 150814_trim_colour.jpg Equally is there a colour reference to the wi...

Re: Saddened by recent rape
The original KW 292 was raped over a year ago.
She was in Lichfield area with an SV tattoo over a year ago.
If you know her I would suggest you take her to the police station and report it. Good luck.
We will see the case in the High Court or you will be Sectioned!

Re: Javelin de-luxe front seat
Andy
I think Bas and Gerda were looking for a brown front seat.
Might be worth putting in southern store unless it is that bad, but even then it might have some good parts on it.

Re: 1936 Jowett in Germany restore
Correct. That is the spare wheel well. But for the Kestrel. You have a Falcon, therefore the spare wheel is mounted externally and NOT within a compartment as the photo shows. Therefore you do not have the curved well as shown. In photo 1 you can see the spare wheel cover. It is part of the body wor...

Alan
Take the gearbox out it is easier. With the engine in place you can smack the flywheel as the engine is held firm. One point ensure the keyway has not drifted back against the bearings or you will have other problems.

Re: What is that noise?
Alan I agree with what the others have said, but would add one more option. When the engine is runing you get this knocking noise. Try depressing the clutch as though you are changing gear. If the noise stops I bet you a beer that the flywheel nut has come loose. You need to take the nut of and smac...
