Is the Club not interested in buying parts for refurbishment for the Spares Scheme? I am not interested in supporting Ebay Vendors as you put it (I don't own a Jowett at the moment either) but thought that the Club might be interested in them when I saw the listing come up yesterday.

I would take a punt on a knackered series landrover which is basically just a meccano kit but wouldn't dare do so with a Javelin. I suspect that the old adage of buying the best you can...
