Please can anyone help me. We have a Bradford pick sitting in a shed the woodwork is almost copletely restored, it's reg isCUD639.
I would like to know what year it is and any ideas on value and how to find out any history on it, although I think it has only had one previous owner.
Thanks in anticipation carolyn.

Assuming the engine is orginal the engine # will give the yr
1st letter ie E is 5 (5th letter of the alphabet)
next # ie 1
= 1951
the following numbers are the production numbers.
I dont know about English assemble braddies but Some NZ assembled also had a tag on the firewall above the battery that corosponed to the engine number.
Unforunatly as far as I am awhere there was no chassis numbers stamped anywhere.

From records it appeares to have been first registered in Oxfordshire.
Dates given from April 1947 to end of Jan 1948.
However the numbers reveal that it was registered in 1947.
May be worth a try to get on to the Oxford local DVLA office as they may put you in the right direction.
Just spotted that you are from Oxford!
