Can anyone talk me through the PF770 headlamp assembly?
My Jupiter didn't come with any headlamps so I am struggling to identify just what parts I need to obtain.
So far I have a pair of late type back shells, the lamp units themselves (with bulb holders) and a pair of outer chrome rims. I think that I still need to get a pair of innner chrome rings, a pair of gaskets and a pair of inner seating rims. Is this correct?
There seem to be several different inner rims but I think I need these ones:
Also I have noticed that Holden only list a fastening kit for the early PF770s. Can these also be used for the late type?

Re: PF770 Headlamp assembly
Hello!
The entire assembly on the Jupiter is the same as the Lucas 770 found on the Jag XK120, with the exception, of course, of the trim on the top of the rim and and the motif mounted behind it on the body. Even the screw and the bottom mounting bracket are the same.
Hope this helps,
Scott

John - In which case try the following Jaguar XK parts specialists for the non Jowett parts that you are missing - links to their web sites are posted below
http://www.guybroad.co.uk/
http://www.jagspares.co.uk/Manners/company.asp
http://www.martinrobey.com/
http://www.scparts.co.uk/
I am unsure of Jowett spares stock but it would be worth checking with them first
Regards Chris

The spear motif at the top is the difficult thing to get as Scott will verify! Then when you get one you mislay it!
