Interesting to note this statement on the e-bay seller's description;

"if this is not sold it will go to the scrap along with the rest of the car i did try to contact the owners club but they are difficult to contact sadly."

This links to the thread 'Reminders from JowettTalk'.

I have searched all the emails sent through Jowett.org. This was sent on 10th March to JowettSpares and I forwarded to the JowettShop.
I have in my posession 2 instruction books for the Jowett cars.One is titled "The Jowett manual" first edition for all models to 1936.
The second one is titled "The 7-17 hp Jowett light car instruction book 15th edition 1930
I suppose it might be difficult to be restricted to only phoning on a Monday evening, or writing a letter to the secretary or filling in the form on http://jowett.org/request.php.

If any officer of the club wishes to give out their email address to the public, then they can expect a lot of spam! The form is a simple way to protect our hard working officials from such things. Anyway difficulty is relative; but if he can post on ebay he should be able to manage a webform! Of course we do not even know which methods he used to try to contact the club or even if it was our club.
