There's a late 1951 Javelin on Ebay:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Jowet-Javelin ... 3a69483b58

This appears to be in reasonable restorable condition.

I bought the Javelin which finished on 9th August (item number 220823482191) – it needs its wings doing plus quite a number of other jobs – I hope that it can be a rolling restoration...

I will be rejoining the Club very soon – I was a member in the 70s and ran three different Javelins and a Bradford then...

Hi Hilary,

A very warm welcome back to the Club! I watched the progress of that auction and wondered who the lucky new owner was! The Javelin looks very tidy and I wish you every success. We are always ready to help with advice etc.

Juliet and I and all our Section would like to welcome you to our Severnside monthly meetings. These are held at the Huntsman Inn, at Falfield, just by Junction 14 of the M5. We meet on the third Thursday of the month at 7.30pm, and some of us get together for a meal beforehand, at around 6.30pm.

In fact. our next meeting is tomorrow, the 18th, and you would be most welcome.

All the best,

David

Javelin from Hilary's link above did not sell, no bids on starting price £600.

Might be worth getting in touch with the seller if anyone is interested, I guess they will relist however we want to make sure it doesn't go to the scrap man if it is solid. It has clearly got a fair bit of rust on the shell, probably parked under a tree or something - who knows if the chassis and other parts are solid, could be a good base for a project.

If anyone needs a phone number for the seller just get in touch and I can pass it on.

Jack.

There's a 1949 Javelin in Pudsey needing loads of work on carandclassic.co.uk together with a substantial amount of spares for £1500.
