September 9th, 10th and 11th - North West Section’s Marathon Event centred on The Knot Inn, Station Lane, Rushton Spencer (see Tim Brown’s final notice below).

Oct 1st -3rd – Isle of Man weekend – planning well advanced and thirteen cars are making the trip – all enquires to Sue Mason – msuemason@gmail.com

Nov: date TBA, but possibly 13th – Norman Wisdom film day at Staden Grange Hotel, Buxton. -David Mason

September 9, 10 and 11, 2011 - North West Section’s Marathon Event centred on The Knot Inn, Station Lane, Rushton Spencer (off the A523 Macclesfield to Leek) :
Friday 9th arrivals during the afternoon for informal noggin and natter at the Knot - camping available at The Knot by application to me first please.
Saturday 10th - visit with Jowetts to nearby National Trust gardens, concluding with an evening meal at The Knot coupled with a night of riveting tattifilarious fun and blether. (remember last year?).
Sunday 11th Main Field Day on The Knot’s superb field adjoining the pub for informalconcours, competitions and usual subliminal Section AGM.
Food and drink available at the Knot all weekend, and the Saturday night grub will be table d’hote. Please let me know if you wish to camp and to attend at the Saturday night jollifications. An accommodation list will be e:mailed to those who require one.
Participation from other sections is encouraged.
