1949 Bradford Van - Back on E Bay for the sixth time in the last 3 months - it's a solid van and requires a little tidying - unfortunately the vendors expectations are just too high hence it remaining unsold previously - he has reduced the asking price a little this time but it is still a steep price for a van that requires work and a repaint - Auction ends 22nd March - starting price is £5,500 or there is a buy it now price of £6,000 - the van is located in Hampshire

No reserve by the looks of things.

Seller says 1949 or thereabouts on the listing - based on front grille and lack of numberplate on the boot I think it is later than that, but the records should help - registration number is FFF 346 (probably worth a fair bit on its own!) Can't see chassis plates on the car, which might not be a good sign for prospective owners but may be with the car somewhere and not photographed.

re the Javelin on ebay for 99p or more . I see it has now been withdrawn, wonder why.? I would not have thought a queue of eager buyers would appear even at that price! It is a deluxe ( bumper at rear, dashboard, alloy grill) but as with many may have had a number plate on the boot, the plate light is on the boot.

The number FFF346 is Merioneth , but the first FFF was issued in July 1961 according to Newall, it could be an age related plate but gives no clue to the age of the car. I thought I could see the chassis plates on the bulkhead , but not the printing .

I could not find the number in the 2008 register.
