In case anybody is interested a book has just been published in English covering the Panhard flat twins from 1945 tp 1960 something. It has a good write up in laast weeks classic car weekly and is the only English language treatice on post war Panhards. I find the post war Panhards in;teresting as not only were they flat twin powered but in a sense carried on the pre war Jowett tradition of a large car powered by a small twin cylinder engine. (The PL17 was longer and wider than the Javelin, could seat 6 and cruise at 75mph on 850cc!) To me a sort of superswift Jowett Eight!. (The books on amazon)
