Nothing to do with Jowetts??
Richard, my son, has entered a competition to produce a 3 minute film about the Nativity.
Now, there isn't an obvious Jowett connection, but perhaps the fact that the space-ship (desk fan) has a flat-twin propulsion unit might just allow it access to JowettTalk.
As with Alan Bartlett's attempt (and success) with the Classic Car of the Year competition, all votes count.
If you would like to vote for his film, and perhaps spread the word to your friends and colleagues via the social media, I'm sure he'll be very grateful.

Thanks,
Tony.
Voting ends on Monday 10th December.

Thanks Alan,
I was surprised that there's only about 3 days in which to vote. It took Richard over 120 hours and the good will of his friends to complete the film.
I hope that those of you who have watched it actually liked it, and voted.
Tony.

The CATivity Nativity - December 2013
For the second year running, Richard has entered the competition to make a three- minute film about Christmas, and this year it really has nothing to do with Jowetts!
This year his entry is called ‘The CAT-ivity nativity’
You might be interested to see it, and the link is below:-

He needs votes as last year, but this time the voting system is a little convoluted, but if you like the film, and can spare the time to follow the instructions to vote for it, I’m sure he’ll be very grateful. Please feel free to forward the link to as many people as you see fit.
Thanks, Tony and Hilary.

Re: Nothing to do with Jowetts??
I forgot to say that voting ends on the 8th December, that's next Monday.
There's been a lot of controversy about the voting system this year being so long-winded, but if you can, please stick with it.
He has 28 votes to date.
Thanks,
Tony.

Re: Nothing to do with Jowetts??
I’m sorry to bother you again, but the Organisers have moved the goal posts because of the feedback from the public about the convoluted way we all were expected to vote.
More to the point, I understand that every vote cast under the previous link has been deleted and that we are expected to vote again using the new link below!
Richard’s film about Christmas this year (2013) is called ‘The CAT-ivity nativity’
The new link is:- http://www.nativityfactor.com/Nativity/Votes
This link may take a little time to fill in, but when it does, select button next to The CATivity Nativity thumbnail (picture of cat asleep) then click vote at bottom of the page.
The closing date for voting is Monday 8th December.
He needs votes as last year, but if you like the film, and can spare the time to follow the instructions to vote for it, I’m sure he’ll be very grateful. Please feel free to forward (or re-forward) the link to as many people as you see fit a.s.a.p.
I suppose that even if you are only browsing this site, and are not registered, you'll be able to vote if you wish.
We’re sorry it’s even shorter notice and that this message is very impersonal, but the voting window is now only 3 days (ends 8th December)
The top ten films with the highest votes will go before a panel of judges who will decide on the overall winner.
Richard’s main aim is to finish in the top 10 in the Adult Section.
Thanks,
Anthony and Hilary.

Thank you if you voted for Richard's film. He came 12th in the voting list, so his film won't be going for judging, but he had a brilliant time making it and was very pleased with the end result.
