For sale on behalf of my transport contractor who took this in payment for work that he recently carried out for a client - both he & myself have too many projects on the go so sadly this has to be moved on:
Early 60's Hillman Husky Series 2 - It's a soundish little thing with a good solid chassis, spring hangers, floor pans & inner wings - it does however require a pair of sills and some work to the inner sills & jacking points. The front wings need some work but are savable, the rear wings are also good with very good wheelarches but requires repair to rear lower quarter sections, it has a good roof, gutter sections, bonnet, tailgate & O/S door - the N/S door requires some work to lower edge of the skin but is otherwise sound. The engine is free and can be turned over but no attempt has been made to start it, the gearbox is a floor change 4 speed. The exhaust has seen better days and the tyres are shot, there is a spare wheel & tyre under the load floor. The chrome & fittings in the main are very good including the very rare side trims however, the front bumper has seen better days. The interior is all there including all instruments / switch gear etc - the rear seat folds down to give a level load area. There are no keys with the vehicle and the owner is sorting the V5 out as I write - This is a very rare little vehicle - just 3 are left on the UK's roads & one off the road (well 2 now this one has come out of hiding) and would make a great little support vehicle for your Jowett fleet.
