Thanks, and the same to all of you in OZ and NZ. Just got my monthly copy of the Sydney Branch Newsletter. It's all happening there! There's some sort of a 'do' at least every month. Bill tells me that both myself and John and Pat Wilson, are fully paid-up until Dec 2007.
Really liked the photo in the Sydney branch newsletter of the pile of rusty Braford bits. Reminds me of going out to buy my wife Hilary a birthday present thirty-odd years ago, but calling first at Roy Braddock's house in North Rode, I was somehow persuaded that Hilary would really like a "flat-pack" pre-war lorry, or at least the makings of it as a birthday present. So shortly afterwards, it arrived chez moi (costing in those days 35GBP), and anyone who's wife is not totally committed to the Jowett cause, but just goes along with her husband's interest in his hobby will realise, it was probably not what she was expecting.
Suffice it to say that it was passed on to another Jowett member rather swiftly, and as far as I recall, it was actually put together!
As Forrest Gump said - " That's all I have to say about that".
Hi Everyone,
Yes its that time of year again to wish you all a very merry Xmas and everthing you could wish for in a safe and rewarding Jowett year in 2007.
Santa has just been to our place ,and he told me that he was very late this year, because of the smoke around Victoria and Tasmania. There are lots of firemen and vollunteers, missing being with their families and so he asked me to think of them, and all the other people away from their loved ones this Christmas.
Santa brought me some bits to fix the Bradford and a new guitar. He said that If I was very good he would send me an elf to teach me to play it.
Brian Holmes, who is very like Santa in lots of ways said that if I put OIL in the diff it goes a lot better, and for longer too.
Happy and safe Christmas every one.
Love from Robyn, Doug and the Rath clan.

Way darrn 'ere, as opposed to way oop tharr (above Watford!), we had the best Christmas ever. On the night of Christmas Eve, there was 35 mm of rain in the rain gauge. Then, to cap it all, we had the briefest white Christmas ever - it hailed, but we received another 13 mm of useful moisture!
