It seems like there haven't been many cars come up for sale in the last month, there are still a few in stock at Peter Rodgers, and some private sale cars that have been up for a few weeks if not a couple of months already.
Ideas on why cars are not coming up for sale? Is everyone hanging on to their cars as appreciating assets? Are members becoming increasingly active and using their cars more, restoring cars instead of selling?
I was expecting, as the weather has now turned a bit in the UK, to see a few more cars come up as traditionally people don't want to hang on to a car through the winter if they can't see themselves using it next year. That doesn't seem to have happened.

Re: No new cars for sale?
- I think that you will find that Peters, Jowett stock is currently exhausted - he tends to keep sold vehicles advertised as for sale to attract further enquiries from potential purchasers - he can then add them to his client list and advise them when he comes across what they are looking for - which is why I do not include them on my monthly listing.there are still a few in stock at Peter Rodgers

Crikey, so we really are looking at just two or three cars newly listed in the last few weeks in the UK, with only a few more available in total?Chris Spencer wrote:- I think that you will find that Peters, Jowett stock is currently exhausted - he tends to keep sold vehicles advertised as for sale to attract further enquiries from potential purchasers - he can then add them to his client list and advise them when he comes across what they are looking for - which is why I do not include them on my monthly listing.there are still a few in stock at Peter Rodgers
Why isn't anyone selling? I can see why one would want to keep a Jowett, but in the past we've seen a fairly steady flow - this seems to have slowed a lot in October and November.
