JCC club of the year
The Jowett Car Club was voted Car Club of the Year by Classic and Sports Car last night at the Classic Car Show. The submission by Jack Moon and Noel Stokoe really impressed the judges.
More later once we get near a decent data connection.

Re: JCC club of the year
I'll upload the entry when I get a minute, but we sent them a very detailed write-up with photos and other documents covering the highlights of our 90th Anniversary, restoration projects underway, some of the motorsport and competition highlights, amongst many other things, as well as giving them an insight into the best bits of the culture within the club. They must have been impressed, as the feedback was very positive.
A great opportunity for us to promote the club, the timing fitted very nicely with so many other things that we have all been doing, and luckily Keith, Sharon and Chris were at the NEC on Saturday evening to collect the award.
Off for dinner now, but the NEC was once again full of Jowetts, people talking about Jowetts, and lots of other interesting cars. Great work from the Midlands Section putting on another great stand, and everyone who has volunteered and got involved. Once again we seem to have punched significantly above our weight as a club with just a few hundred members and cars.
Jack.

Well, I've just clicked the link and read it in the Gallery, and can only say that it's most impressive, and can't imagine how much time Noel and Jack have had to sacrifice to make such a document. A Class Act!!
I'm not surprised that it swayed the judges' decision to give the award to us out of the 'myriad' of other Car Clubs in the U.K. today.
Many thanks to you both on behalf of us all in the Jowett Car Club.
It's a wonderful archive, and being in the JowettGallery, it should last for all time.
Tony.

Re: JCC club of the year
Well done Jack and Noel! Of course we all know that the JCC is the best club in the world don't we? So this is hardly news.
Well done everybody. Put my name down to help on the stand next year but I won't be coming down in Yellow Peril for the day!
