Tip top Jowett wheels
Hi all,
I am now able to supply new wheels in cast aluminium. They are 19 inch, well based, as fitted 1923 to 1930 or later? They can be supplied as castings or machined ready for use.
They are heavier than the standard steel wheels, but once painted look ideantical.
Or you could polish them!!!!!
When did Jowett stop fitting this size of wheel?
The casting blanks can be drilled to suit other makes or car, so feel free to spread the word to our Fiat, Morris and other brothers.

Great stuff James. Good to see people sharing parts sourcing expertise and contacts. If any of you find a source for a part, please share it on JowettTalk to help others.
If your finances allow, having a batch made and then selling at a later date is worth doing and might make you a profit.
At the very least, let the Jowett Spares team (UK, Aus, NZ or US) know what is going on, either directly or via JowettTalk.

the 19'' 'artilery' wheels were used on some cars up to 1931 and commercials to 1933

Hi James,
Are these the same dimensionally as the 19" Sankey 5 stud pressed steel wheels used on 7 hp Jowett passenger vehicles?
OD of rim: 488 mm
Width across rim: 95 mm
Wheel Offset: 17.4 mm
I know that Sankey wheels of any description have just about disappeared from major swap meets down here (Victoria - Australia) - they just don't come up for sale any more. I was very lucky to be able to buy 5 for my 7 hp in Western Australia.
Cheers

Yes, thats right.
I think the steel Sankeys are getting rare, and rusty!
Thats the only reason i am doing these.
Painted black i want them to look identical.
They do weight more, so there is a performance disadvantage.
