Bonnet rear buffers, Horn slip ring brush holders

Post by Keith Clements »

I will be reproducing some bonnet rear buffers and some Horn slip ring brush holders with brushes true to the original. I have 50 of the brushes and will reproduce the brush holder and clip. So if anyone wants these parts let me know.

Keith, if we have not responded to say "yes" we definitely need at least one of these for the SC. The original snapped when fitted in 2010, and attempts to fix/glue original have resulted in a fair bit of tape and a non-working horn :D

Rear bonnet buffers available through Neil Belk. Stainless steel plate with poured urethane buffer. Also just rebuilt several slip rings, so I guess great minds think alike.
