Rally, Lyme Park.

John and Hazel Gatley, Karen,Robert and myself,would like to say how much we enjoyed the National Rally .Thank you to the North West section for all the hard work they did to make it a wonderful day out. Our plan was for me to drive the Kestrel to Lyme Park and meet John and co there. However being in a Jowett I chose a good hilly route via Leek ,Wincle,Wildboarclough,Bottom of the Oven.Lamaload reservoir,Saltersford Hall,Jenkin Chapel,Pym Chair, Windgather Ridge and on to Lyme Park.I must say thank you to the farmer who towed me from Jenkin Chapel up to Pym Chair behind his large tractor after I failed to climb the hill.But I still enjoyed a lovely drive in a Jowett that morning,thanks to all Jowett enthusiasts who made the rally so good.
