Did anyone else spot the green Javelin, registration ONW 200 on BBC 2, 'Nation on Film' tonight?
It seems likely that it belonged to Cyril and Betty Ramsden. Anyone know any more?

Javelin on "Nation on Film"
Hello Ian,
Yes I also saw a Javelin on three separate occasions within the programme - I think! Don't know whether it was the same one in every shot.
First was one going up the ramp into the innards of a ??Silver Line Transporter aeroplane.
Second showed a frontal shot with what I wrote down as having the reg.no. DNW 200, and not ONW 200 as you write. Of course it was on screen for only a second or two, so I might have got it wrong. I didn't tape it.
Third was in good colour and it was, as you say, definitely green.
Perhaps this film is already known to Noel, but there was not a repeat notice against the programme in the paper.
Tony.

Re: Seen on TV
This is not a Jowett, I know (although it fits the title of this thread . . . it was seen on TV!). But anyway, I wonder if anyone who was at Goodwood saw this NZ car while they were there?
I'm no expert, but it looks kind of skittish in the steering department to me . . .

And another one!
As 'advertised' in Jowetteer, Ed Nankivell's Jupiter was on the Celebrity Antiques' show this week.
The more the merrier!
Any more to come?

Re: Seen on TV
Seen on TV over the last weekend...On ' You've been framed ' , A clip of what looked to be a dark coloured Jupiter racing somewhere, taking a right hander too fast and turning over, to land back on it's wheels front on to the camera.
Only a short clip and I didn't have the recorder on. Anyone confirm it was a Jup and if so when, where and who ?
Just found it on ITV IPlayer, last Wednesday, about 1.40 into the programme. Lands upside dawn, put back on it's wheels by onlookers.

If it was a Jup it was probably Frank Wooley at Pembury.

Re: Seen on TV
I watched the first of the series 'Motor racing on the BBC' tonight, (on tape) and in a general shot of a town, a Javelin - GAK 941 - whooshed by.
It seemed to have a GB sticker above its number plate.
Tony.
