new to jowett talk :)

hi people,

i have joined here due to buying a 1949 javelin jowett and i am at a loss as to where to buy part or even find them. i'm 30 years old male from adelaide, australia and i have tinkered with cars most of my life.

i started it a few weeks ago for the first time in 30 years it did not run too bad for a car that has not run for so long. currently on the hunt for brake components also what is the next process for joining a jowett club in adelaide? i can usually find what i need but i am really at a loss with this car .

i bought it of a friend of mine that was about to send it to the scrap yard but i could not let that happen because i loved the shape since i was 16 years old. that being said i am having trouble with parts.

You should first join the JCCA. See details TOPIC here. You can then view the First Aid map which will show you members close by you.

Then contact TimKelly via the members links at the top right using email.

The Jowett parts store for Aus is in Queensland but some may be available locally.

Apart from that keep asking questions here.
