Well of course the answer is to renew the seals....

JCS although I think the ones they supply are too small a diameter. They are O rings. But see my set up in the JT post.

Hi Keith,

Thank you for your reply.

What is JCS?
I am still not clear on what part in the link you reference is leaking? I am not familiar with this part of my Jupiter and from the pictures in the link I am still trying to figure out what part is the culprit? Can you clarify for me please?

Jowett Car Spares. The spares function of the Jowett Car Club, which you should join.
Please look at the early parts book. TOPIC Page 20 and TOPIC Page 21
Item 773 Part 50496

Leaking from the reservoir is very common and many do not bother fixing it, preferring to keep filling up. Wear on the shaft and other places may be causing the leak as well.

I use a thick oil, SAE80 or thicker, mixed with a little grease,

It is important that leaking oil does not soak the torsion bar bushes as replacement is a mission. I dunno about jupiters but Javelin rebound buffers also dissolve and many are missing and unknown to owners. Can overstress steering linkages on rebound.
