Air cooled Jowett engine.

Post by ian Howell »

In a leafy lay-by on the global information highway, I found this reference: -

A sketch on the inside of a Player's Cigarette packet of an air-cooled engine entitled "The first Jowett engine Designed and made by B Jowett".

How often have people at car shows said to me 'Oh yes, they had air cooled engines didn't they?' and I have corrected them.

But now . . . ?

Whilst it may be a 'fag packet' job, is this something that could be / has been given a wider airing in Jowetteer?
