TRIUMVIRATE (secular)

Post by Tony Fearn »

I've seen quite a few postings over the last few days that have appeared in triplicate.

What do you think this is due to??

Tony.

I got a message when I pressed Submit saying message refused.
I think the letters php were involved and also DE... I can't recall the word but there were three letters after the DE.
My 'triplicaterization was due to re-trying another twice !
When I checked I'd posted three times.

Hi Rob,

That's what I was thinking, but I admit that I expected the more reasoned reply from K.C.

However, if one examines the post that one has just submitted, before anyone else replies, it will be obvious that multiple submissions have been made, and there is a mechanism to remove all the surplus ones.

I'ts happened to me before today - before today - before today.

Regards,

Tony.

P.S. Ted got in just before me, but I commend his attempt at inventing a new word for the O.E.D..

Thanks Tony, funnily enough, I invented a few more today when I picked up my soldering iron by the wrong end ! Lack of concentraterization and too much old age, I'm afraid.

Well that's something I haven't done - yet.

But on the subject of soldering irons, Lidl are selling them at the moment.

Only small ones, at £2.99, but they include a primitive stand. They are guaranteed for 3 years would you believe.

Thanks also to Drummond and yourself for the technical tips on brake pipes. As you know, I haven't a Javelin, but the info will be useful when I change the pipes on my Rapier.

Regards,

Tony.

Our Lidl didn't have any although I went for the walkie talkie with the 3 mile range for just under 20 quid...........they didn't have them either.
Came home with a plastic tool box at 2.99 to keep the pegs for the caravan awning in !

Sometimes you may get an error message; which may or may not mean your post has been recorded. Just check your post was recorded. You can edit or delete your post, if you want. The probable cause of the error message is delay on database server. The php script runs on a different server and so complains if it does not get an answer in what it thinks is a reasonable time.
Note that, if the post was not recorded, you should be able to pick up the screen used to post and resubmit by using the back arrow.
