The original Bradford Truck cab rear wall was a sheet of thin ply to which on the outer surface was bonded a thin sheet of aluminium. I understand this was a standard commercial product at the time, but sadly no longer available.
My problem in trying to recreate this is finding a thin sheet (0.5 or 0.8mm) of alu that is big enough, without having to buy industrial quantities of the stuff. The size required is 1100x1050mm, but every supplier I have spoken to so far will only supply an individual sheet where one dimension is 1m.
Anybody any ideas?

My supplier 'Metal Store' stocks a 0.9 sheet that's available in 1250 x 1250mm - they will even cut it to size for you - delivery is normally fairly quick too - link below
