Hi folks another chance to see a Javelin on ITV3 in Ballykissangel
The vicar inherited the car last night(Thursday7th Jan ) so he uses it each night until he writes it off

And here's a competition for you. Which car do they use in the write off episode? it was definitely not a Javelin!!

From 1966 to present, 1930 Long Four Fabric Saloon, Dark Blue / Black.
Taken in a part-repaired state to the 2010 Centenary Rally, returned to a roadworthy state by 2013.

Possibly Peugeot 203?

MANY years ago I was regularly travelling the Newhaven / Dieppe ferry route and at first was amazed at the number of Javelins there.

Of course they turned out to be 203s. but the thought was amazing!

Me thinks it was a plywood mock-up. Yoy only see the underside from the cliff top. WHO CAN TELL ??

if I remember correctly it looked like the underside of the autsin/morris 1100 family with a (one piece) javelin grille carefully plaaced against it to convey the , not very realistic, impression of an overturned Jav

If I recall, it had it's exhaust right down the middle. Could have been any old scrapper, Marina, Escort ?
