Possibly I am late to the party on this, (and this post could just as well be in the History thread), but I see that there are 71 great photos of Jowetts in action on the Motorsport Images site: https://www.motorsportimages.com/photos ... jowett&p=1

There are a few recent photos, but most are in-period monochrome images from various events with plenty of pre-war trials and Brooklands events. There are 28 photos from Le Mans, many of which I had not seen before including scrutineering, and pit stops [with Horace Grimley doing his bit].

One or two of the photos are incorrectly captioned [it is a Salmson getting a push, not a Jowett], but some of those early trials were amazing.

Copies of these photos are very expensive, but even so what can be seen on the site is fascinating.

A good collection.
I have started investigating how to do a similar search capability of the images in JowettTalk.
The existing Archive facility only searches pdfs but I can extend this to find any text on images, but that is no good for most images as they require titles and keywords adding which would require someone going through the images and adding as metadata.

Some of this could be determined from the topic they are associated with, but then searching JowettTalk using its database search could do that.

The issue with words 3 characters or less is not really resolvable unless registration numbers etc are prefixed by something (say 'car'), so that NKD 258 becomes either NKD258 or carNKD 258

Food for thought and ideas please.
