The main steps are :
- Go to jowett.net in your browser
- Identify yourself and choose a password
- Wait for the email and if it does not arrive within five minutes contact the webmaster
- Click the activation link and enter your password
- If you are also a club officer, choose the UKmember role that you are going to play in this session
- Go to the Menu and select the Check process to check your details on file
- Change anything that needs changing and Check the changes. Then inform the officers by clicking Send
- OR go straight to renew and pay
- Choose your method of payment and click Paying to recalculate the subscription due.
- If using PayPal (which can be used for debit and credit card payments), choose your membership type and complete the PayPal process.
- Confirm you have sent payment which will inform the officers.
- If you have not used Paypal go to your bank website and send payment remembering to add your membership number to the transaction.
- You have now completed renewal and can come back in a few days to check it has all gone through.
- You can also update your vehicle details on line.
There is a lot to read the first time you go through the process but the text has been added to help with all the different sorts of questions that have arisen over the last 7 years of use of the system. If you are familiar with the system then you can turn Info off.

Enter jowett.net into your browser address bar, click on Members. Read and enter your details so that the system can identify you. Click the Verify button and check all is OK Wait for email to arrive in your Inbox. Click the Activation Link button Renter the password you chose. You may have more than one role available if you are a club officer or a member of another club. Choose the Role you wish to play for this session. It will govern which services are presented to you. If you had changed your role then you confirm you want to enter that role. This is the menu of services for a UK member. The member can check the details the club holds. Or look at the History to see when and what and who made the last change. If there are no changes to be made then you can go to renew or if you have already check your vehicle details are up to date. If you make changes then click the Check button Then if there are no errors click the Send button to inform officers of change. You can see the database has been updated in the confirmation So you can then go to Renew You should then either pay by BACS or use the PayPal system to pay by Credit or Debit Card. You do not need a PayPal account to do this. If you are paying, then tell the system the Method you are using and it will calculate the amount. This will check the subscription due. When you have made the payment, click the ConfirmSubscription button and this will inform the officers to expect the payment.
Note if you used PayPal this will separately inform the Treasurer but still inform the officers. You can check this on the screen but you will also be sent an email.
You then need to come back later to member services to confirm the Membership Sec has updated your record. This may take a couple of weeks depending on payment method.
Your Membership Year will show when your membership will finish.
