Hello Bryn, and welcome to the Forum.
Notwithstanding the previous posts, I'm sure you'll get a lot of satisfaction from restoring this vehicle.
Regarding the rather terse reply below, it should be easy to become a member, and it's around £42 per annum to do so - but there are many benefits, one being you will get to know many other Jowetteers including Jowett Bradford owners if you 'put yourself about'.
Having joined the Club, this Forum site and its rather splendid archive will be available to you if you are au fait with the vagaries of computer knowledge.
I will send you a Personal Message via this site so that you may telephone the Membership Secretary.
Best wishes,
Tony.

Re: Bradford Van on ebay
Hello Bryn,
Which part of the country do you live in please then we can tell you which section you could join. I too have a basket case Bradford. However I still work full time so the timescale I have set myself is no where near as ambitious as yours. The Bradford Registrar is Paul Beaumont. He lives near Barnsley and is very competent with all things Bradford. We believe we have found a carpenter to make all the frame parts. But that has yet to be proved. They are the tricky part of any Bradford restoration. I live in Buxton in Derbyshire and am happy to try and point you in the right direction if you need it.
Joining the club is a smart move and makes so much more possible.

Well that will probably be the Midlands section then.

Re: Bradford Van on ebay
Hi I have now removed all the metal box section from the van so I now have a chassis and a cab. I will be requiring all the correct timber for the cab first so any advice would be good

Hi Bryn.
I can see that although it's winter, the grass isn't growing under your feet.
Perhaps a few photos of the different stages of restoration wouldn't go amiss.
You could post them on line here in JowettTalk, or even set-up a Personal Album so that they'd all be in one place.
They'd be useful in the future for other intrepid would-be Bradford owners.
*Here, I'm sure Forumadmin would like to get involved as how to go about doing this if you can't manage.
Tony.

Re: Bradford Van on ebay
Our club chairman & Bradford registrar 'Paul Beaumont' is your point of contact with regards to a new frame but these are not off the shelf parts - they are only produced to order but a chat with Paul will qualify the lead times & availability - meanwhile I have attached a link below to a forum thread of a Bradford Van (Utility) that I restored a few years ago for a club member that you may find useful - although in this case I managed to save the frame - I'm also restoring another for a club member but I have now changed forums that I post to / support (link also attached)
