What else do you call that valuable junk? email JCC UK shop

Many models of Jowetts exist. Here is one of the R1 Jupiter that ran at Le Mans in 1952.

Pre-war Jowett Books

Post by Forumadmin »

My Father had a number of Jowetts, the first I do not know much about other than it had, what I believe to be a 600cc engine, 4/5 seats and looked very much like many saloon cars of that period with no boot and running boards. However I have an Instruction Book and photographed pages that I think may relate to this vehicle ( The Jowett Light Car ) although the engine sizes quoted are 907.2 and 1166cc not 600cc. In addition a I have a List Of Spare Parts catalogue and Maintenance Manual for the 1.5 litre Javelin. If any of your members are interested in obtaining these books they can contact me at adrian.brice407@ntlworld.com for more information.

Ps I also some photographs and an official catalogue for the Earls Court 37th International Motor Exhibition 1952 Jowett stand 134 which may be of interest to your archivist.
