Centenary publicity

Obviously the coming year is a very big one - I have only been in the club a couple of months so I am not really up to speed with things yet but I take it a push is planned for the marque ?? i.e. I would have thought that the Classic & sports car would be in favour of doing a article if contacted - Motorsport could also be intrested if we could arm them with the sporting achevements of Jowett - I am sure other publications would be intrested such as The Automobile which tends to specialise in the pre war stuff - can anyone bring me up to date enlighten me with what is planned ??

Sounds like you need to come to an exec meeting and volunteer for a job! Try getting along to a section meeting or organise one of your own and invite members. I expect to have a few starting up in Kings Langley in the New Year, the excuse being to get daughter's car on the road; but it will turn into a Noggin and Natter.

Is there a press release for the rally? If so, please could I have a copy? Happy to include any notes to editors, acknowledgements, etc, as required.

There are various work publications which would be interested in the rally / centenary / me rebuilding a Jupiter, and no doubt it would end up attracting good publicity and quite possibly attendees at the field day - I work for a very large employer with offices all over the country.
