When visiting the VCC of NZ forum today, I found these historical films that have been transferred to YouTube videos. Although there's no sign of Jowetts in them, they may be of interest to members. Note the rugged rural scenery and the "dirt" roads used . . !

. . . I suppose that many of the participants are no longer with us, but their cars probably survive. Like Jowetts . . . "left to the next of kin" :)

Not only are the old cars that were the main focus of the original film of great interest, but the contemporary cars in the background of the shots are presently very interesting too!
