"Pottering" around Manfeild

Post by Leo Bolter »

Here's a "Javelin eye view" VIDEO of the run around the Manfeild Motor Racing Circuit extension.

Image

A TIP: To orient oneself with where one is on the circuit within the video, the car is starting onto the circuit at the bottom right of the green rectangle ("the pits") and there's a pole (with tyres around it) showing part way through the clip at 1 minute 03 seconds. That's the wee dot at the northern hairpin bend. The circuit was driven in a clockwise direction.

The owners of this clip (Katey and Carl Bolter) apologise for the fairly poor quality of the sound and the video . . it was taken with Carl's iPhone!

Leo.

The video

Post by Alastair Gregg »

Loved the video and I know how hard it is to video in a moving car. I tried at a hiil climb in this country last year. So no apologies needed. I have got a secret toy to play with this year so we will see if thats any improvement and will let you see for your considered opinion. What a good idea having the meeting at a race track.

Anything else from the rally says he somewhat pointedly???? :D
Compliments of the Season,

Alastair Gregg
