BSW and BA Tools

Post by Jack »

When doing some shopping last week (and deciding to get Amy her own set of tools for the car) I found a supplier that I have previously used for a number of other things also specialised in supplying some rather hard to find tools, and at pretty reasonable prices too.

Their website is here http://www.baconsdozen.co.uk/tools/whitworth.htm which is the Whit section, they've got sockets, spanners, box spanners, impact sockets, just about everything I think you'd need for normal work on the car.

They also seem to specialise in supplying some quite high end brands of tools, and so far the quality that they've supplied seems to be great.

Useful heads up perhaps for members, they also will supply individual sockets and spanners, and some very large sizes as required, definitely worth a phone call if you can't find the one tool you need!

They've got loads of BA tools as well, and a decent clearance section that seems very cheap for what you're getting http://www.baconsdozen.co.uk/tools/repair.htm#Clearance

Note - they are much better to ring up than e-mail in my experience, and order arrived next day, and if you order a few things the postage is very reasonable.

Jack.
