Welcome to all visitors to this Kiwi Section of JowettTalk. Here you can post messages that relate specifically to New Zealand, NZ activities, NZ needs or to NZ Jowett owners. Probably technical and general discussions will best be placed in the general section where there will be a bigger audience.
For those that are not familiar with Jowetts in NZ, there is a strong National Club of 166 members plus associate members and plus 20 overseas members. Collectively they own 270 Jowetts, predominately Javelins and Bradfords with some Jupiters, a sprinkling prewar's and a few vintage and specials.
The Club produces the magazine "Flat Four" six times a year, holds a National Rally and provides services of: new and used parts, manuals, special tools technical advice etc. Activities are centred on 3 regional branches and include: runs, picnics, concours, gymkhana, weekends away and technical evenings.
Membership is NZ$27 and overseas members can for an additional NZ$10, have their magazines airmailed to them.
Have a look at our website at www.jowettnz.sytes.net We are always happy to see members from overseas and NZ members are encouraged to visit others when moving around the country.
I am pleased to be the first on the Kiwi Section and encourage all to use it for matters particular to New Zealand
Kind Regards
Alan Stanley
