1kg fire extinguisher - £6.99 new!

Post by Jack »

For anyone who might be in need of a small and cheap fire extinguisher, LIDL are selling 1kg fire extinguishers for £6.99 from Thursday.

They are powder type, rated for combustion of solids, liquids and gases, so ok for petrol or other fires. Worth having just in case the worst should happen, or even to assist someone else on the road - having seen a vehicle fire in full swing if that can be avoided by prompt early action with the right type of extinguisher then definitely a good thing.

They've also got some jacks for very cheap as well, I bought a trolley jack from them a year ago or so and it continues to do just as good a job as any of the more expensive ones we have around, so quality seems to be ok.

Jack.

I've just noticed they've got an in-car First Aid kit as well for £4.99 - very useful in case you come across an accident at the side of the road or indeed are unfortunate enough to be injured. Nothing worse than standing there not able to help.
