I've just spoken to I.P. about pre-war brakes, and also asked him about the Ex-Employees' meeting at the Bradford Industrial Museum this coming Saturday (14th August).
He's expecting a record number of Jowetts on parade. (63)
Going off previous years, U.K. members come from far and wide. D and J will be there with the Jowett shop. They're coming from Newport in Gwent and in the best traditions of the Club, I understand that they have been offered overnight accommodation with other Jowetteers round about the Hebden Bridge area.
Quite a few Club Officers have also attended in the past, along with we lesser mortals, as you will probably remember from one of my photos in the Jowetteer from last year, viz: President and Chairman!
So, if you're wondering what to do this weekend, "come on down" (or up) to the meeting.
It usually rains, but don't let this put you off, it might just be a glorious day.
Tony.

I second that commotion
63 cars, Yikes! its nearly as big as a normal National!!!
Is Hilary driving Sarah Jane or Mary Ellen? Members must be getting multiple cars there.
