Brolt panel

Post by Jack Watson »

I have a Brolt dash panel which may possibly have been originally fitted to a Jowett.

Brolt was in business from 1911 to 1924 when it was bought out by Lucas, so that seems to date its vintage.

I have been thinking of putting it on EBay, but thought first to see if there is any interest from the Jowett folks.

It is oval, 7-1/2" x 4-3/4", bare (no instruments), heavy gauge brass, has two (one chipped) bakelite inserts in the Light and Ignition indicator holes.

No photos yet, (until when I learn how to use my new digital camera!)

Any interest?

Unfortunately, I cannot give it away, as I need to boost my play-money budget to help pay for bits for my current project - a 1950 MAC Velocette

Hi Jack,
We have a few members in WA but the oldest Jowett they have is a Bradford. But a UK member is coming over in April and may be interested in acquiring.
As you see we are all joining up in Armidale NSW and some are driving from Armadale, WA.
