I certainly didn't mean to offend anyone - as an old mentor of mine (ex-Winchester and Royal Artillery) often said 'I never offend inadvertantly'.
I thought this was more by way of friendly banter.
Still, at least people are looking and caring - we need more of the same!
Tony: - Point taken re : - Ian Priestley. I feel a bit awkward about ringing him. emails can be answered at leisure (what is 'leisure'?!) but telephones seem a bit peremptory.
Anyway it's not urgent. I am just finishing off repairing the second centreing device - first one fits a treat. Should there be any adjustment of the overall length of the propshaft? Possibly shims under the centreing ball bolts? I didn't find any when I took it to pieces.

Happily I was able to follow KA's techno speak. I have had some problems with spam and members registering with dubious websites or signatures. These I have so far manually deleted.
Of course, I can secure the site, but I do not want to put obstacles (any more that is) in the way of the old fogey's ability to use the site.
However, things may change, especially if I implement the enhancements, such as pictures, to the site.
Any help as a moderator or enhancer to jowett.org and Jowetttalk is always welcome!
