I have 2 different vin numbers not sure why E2SAL719R and E2SAL837R

Both are correct number sequences for Jupiters. 719 shows as a USA delivery car with no further info and 837 was sent to the US about 4 months later, also no history. The motor and chassis carried the same number from the factory, but if someone replaced a motor, either chassis might have had either motor. The CA DMV often did not know where to look for the VIN, so very often the motor number became the number for the car. In my opinion, it would be difficult to figure out which chassis this is, as both had that version of the upper a-arm/shock mount. Ties it to being a 1952 Jowett for sure.

Time for Edmund, the registrar to weigh in. I will look at my blocks, but pretty sure I don't have either. I will check with James on his stash.
