Hi Mike,
My pump is a Holden SU repo but standard points as at the time I wanted one, they had no electronic pumps in stock. The general consensus on here was to keep the unit away from heat. Also as the pipework splits under the bonnet, finding a suitable break point and repiping & rerouting seemed more challenging.
The unit I bought from another member of the club. He had bought it new, then looked at the job and decided it was way too much hassle to install in a Jupiter. Bought it at a bargain price......good Jowettering!
Regards, Graham.

Re: Filter King installation?
Hello Graham,
I think we have a bit of a conundrum here. Now that I have had another look at the photograph of the red carton, it is obvious that your Filter King device needs to be fitted between the S.U. pump and the carburettors. The reason for this is because the petrol pressure regulator must be on the pumped petrol side of the pump for it to have any influence on the pressure to the carburettors.
The S.U. pump has a very fine inlet filter gauze, now made of plastic and I think it possibly suffices. The Jowett Jupiter installation has this gauze, as does the Javelin inside its A.C. pump, and then a fine filter gauze at each carburettor banjo bolt. However, with that set up, debris still gathered in the float bowls. Since fitting the, relatively, massive C.A.V. diesel filter, the float bowls have remained sparkling clean. I still need to move that filter to the inlet side of the S.U. pump but, on our roads (Algerian style donkey tracks) in Australia, I am wary about stone damage to the large glass bowl water trap.
My Filter King pressure regulator only, is mounted on the St. Andrews cross bracing behind the radiator.
Cheers,
Mike Allfrey.
