Hello again, sorry I haven't posted for quite a while!
The van is now built up and going for paint next week (it's going to be dark green). Then the winter will be spent finishing it ready for next year hopefully.
Bit of a contrast from:
I have also decided to sell KWT935 to (part) pay for the painting and will post details in the for sale section for anyone interested.

Looks good Hendrik.
I'll bet you're a little bit excited now.
Looking forward to seeing it all lovely and shiny in 2011.
Tony.

Hi Tony,
Yes an update is way overdue.
As mentioned above, I sold the other van to (part) pay for the paintwork.
The van is now painted and looking very good. Unfortunately things have since stopped, so near yet so far.
"All" that's needed glass to be reinstalled, interior and sign writing.
I am hoping this will begin in the next couple of weeks and will post some new pictures.

Well nothing has happened since my last post, the van has been in storage waiting to be finished.
However last week (at last) the van finally went over to Ian Priestley's to be finished and made road legal. So I am hoping to finally have a working van and actually get to drive a Jowett for the first time very soon!

Ian is putting the van back together much quicker than I expected. Went to take a couple of photos earlier this week so I can get it registered and get the plates and V5. Hopefully it will be MOT time soon!

A quick update. The van is running!
Now all it needs is an MOT and it might be able to drive a Jowett for the first time after over 5 years of ownership!

Hello again Hendrik and Angela, and hooray!
There's still time to book in for the Rally at Llandrindod Wells, and I think there's a posse coming down from Yorkshire.
Tony.

Finally had the van signwritten.
Doesn't she look beautiful!
Just need to sort out the brakes and a bit of engine work and we are up and running.

It's always nice to see a completed well executed restoration - Hendrick - do you know what the name of the green colour is that you had the bodywork painted in ?

Thanks for the comments.
Chris, I think we had a green made up as I wanted a dark colour.
I will ask the painter I used to be sure.

Now that (hopefully) the van will be up and running this year, any advice on tools and spares I should carry?
Also I want to buy a cover to protect all this (expensive) paintwork I've had done. Any recommendations?
