4WD Bradford?

Post by The Bradford man »

When i was looking for info on weasles in Old Jowetteers I came across this... A 6 wheeled bradford truck.
I am just intrested in finding out more info about it.
Is it 4WD or is it another axle to help suport the weight?

Heres a pic of it.

Thanks :P

did the Jowetteer with pic in not give any info to go with it. For what its worth I note it is left hand drive! & my guess would be that it is 2 wheel dive the rearmost axle being a taag axle. Difficult to scale from the photo but the midddle axle lo0ks to be furthur forward than on the normal 7'6" wheelbase & petrol cap looks to be on opposite side to normal (unless this was done on all LHD Bradfords.

would be interesting to find out where & by who it was converted unless it was a dodgy photo!

Do you mean the one that started with this thread or the one that i know of?

The one I Know of was built in the 1970s or even early 1980s.
Dad took a pic of it. I will had to ask dad more details since he knew who built it.
