There will probably be several members meeting at The Black Lion, Patcham as usual, and possibly some at Staplefield green.
Also there is an autojumble at the Ardingly Showground on Sunday.
May see you at one or the other - or both?!

Hi Ian,
What's the date for this? How does a person join in?
We'd be keen, depending on dates etc.
Thanks,
Jack.

Jack - The London to Brighton veteran run is the first Sunday in November i.e. this Sunday !! and is an annual event - it leaves from Hyde Park in London with the first car leaving at first light - 07.04 hours - there is in excess of 500 cars attend all built between 1890 - 1904. They are normally all underway by 08.30 hours and is a fantastic sight - myself and Sharon normally spectate and wave them off over a coffee. You are welcome to join us if you can pull yourself from under the covers early enough !!! - You can not join Ian and company as you are already committed for the remainder of the day in completing works on the SC !!!

Re: London - Brighton veteran car run
I guess we'll put this in the diary for next year - time is short for the NEC (just got back from the garage!)
I think at 7am on Sunday I'll be very much asleep, but all the best to the hardy Jowetteers going out in the current weather.
Jack.

Re: London - Brighton veteran car run
I went to the London - Brighton after first visiting the autojumble at Ardingly (Thanks for the info Ian).
I went first to the Black Lion at about 14-00 and then to Staplefield Green where there were a lot of club groups but, by the time I got there, no sign of Jowetts.
Still, it was a nice day out and I did get a contemporary fuse box to protect the new electrics in my Long Four.
After 3 months on-and-off in Wales and now two weeks working away from home, I hope to get back to the 'repair' project soon.
Keep Jowetteering!
