Jowetts On Screen

After a bit of poking around online for photos of cars, I came across a website of guys who seem to spend their time finding cars in films, even in the background, and identifying them. They are part of the Internet Movie Database Group, so hopefully the data will be online and built on - they certainly have some very knowledgeable car spotters!

The site is here: http://imcdb.org/

And the Jowett section here: http://imcdb.org/vehicles_make-Jowett.html

31 images so far, anyone know of films they've missed?

Some of the images they've found:

The Fast And The Furious, 1954

Echo Der Berge, 1954

Check this one out, they managed to identify a Javelin in this brief glimpse from The Avengers:

And there's more:

It is worth us adding to their collection if we can - based on the usual internet searches for movies, IMDB comes up frequently, perhaps if we are aware of Jowetts in films or TV (perhaps some of us have even provided our cars for such things) then get the photo uploaded in the right section to add to the database. Having more photos which are available to them may just spark the interest of someone looking for a car.

Jack.

There was a Weasel used in an episode of Poirot which I have yet to see - can anyone remember the title?

At 11:22pm! I found the site looking for information and photos of the all important car. Plus it was a bit cold outside :)

Anyway, we're on our way now, hopefully to get the garage a bit more sorted, clear out some of the debris from under the car, perhaps even get the wheels on it and see about having a look at things underneath.

Jack.
