electronic tachometers

Post by chapman »

Does anyone know a company or person who could convert the Jupiter tacho from mechanical to electronic.
I fitted an electric fan and water pump and the load was too great for the dynamo so I have had to fit an alternator which means you lose the L drive with the dynamo.
Also does anyone have a tacho which I can buy to convert.
I have for sale all four suspension units from a javelin ,a Javelin radiator and some glass plus a bonnet lid.
I am looking for cylinder heads to refurbish and a starter motor

I did do this. But the problem is the Jup pointer has much more inertia than the donor gauge was happy with. Hence not accurate.
