JCC New Member Survey

After several days of making an awful lot of phone calls, the work to understand where new members are finding the club, and a bit about them, is finally starting to take shape.
Here are the questions we asked, in the aim of understanding who our new members are and to get some feedback. I would be really interested to hear what you think the results were - feel free to copy and paste the questions with what you would expect new members to say about the club, and about themselves.
Once we have a few responses, I will hopefully be in a position to share the (anyonymised) data on what we have found so far, and will update if this changes, as well as being able to compare what we expected with what we found. I know there were a few surprises in there for me when I collated the results!
So, the questions:
Q1, “How did you hear about the JCC?”
Q2 - “Why did you join the JCC?”
Q3 – “Having now joined, is being a member what you expected? What is the best thing about the JCC so far for you?”
Q4 – “Have you been to a section meeting?”
Q5 – “Have you heard about and/or signed up for the Basingstoke Rally?”
Q6 – “Do you have access to a computer?”
Q7 – “Have you visited the club website or forum, JowettTalk?”
Q8 – “How old are you?” – please note respondents were given the option not to answer this question if they preferred, all were happy to share.
Q9 – “Is your husband/wife/other interested in the cars or club?” - as above, respondents were given the option not to answer. All did though.
Q10 – “Do you have children or other younger relatives? If so are they interested in the cars or club?”
We also made notes of other things that came up during the conversation - often mention of other cars owned, stories behind how they found their car or people they had met already from the club. These will hopefully be able to be included in the report for the Exec once they have been anonymised where appropriate.
I will avoid commenting on the thread until the results are posted to avoid bias, but feel free to ask away regarding the design of the survey or the reasons behind it that I will be able to answer.
Jack.
