What a day!

Thanks to Craig and the Midlands Section for organising this one - lots of cars (something like 7 or 8 Jupiters, 3 Javelins and Michael Fishwick's lorry) and a really good venue.

Plenty of other cars there, but we must have been one of the larger club displays. Bletchley Park was an interesting place to spend the day, with lots of tours and information as well as

And great value at £6 each for two of us in the car. Hopefully we will see a few photos find their way here - it was a shame to get back in the cars after 5pm to go home, everyone was having a great time and meeting new members but the garden was calling and the grass won't cut itself.

Jack.

TOPIC Pictures here

But one of the organiser...

A great day with many hours spent listening to talks and following the tour guide and wandering between the different huts as well as enjoying a champagne picnic with the many Jowetteers.

Afterwards most of us went for a meal to continue our conversations.

One topic which did come up was the need to have more of these type of events in different parts of the country. So why not organise one? Not only will you meet some more Jowett owners, but, like this one, meet other classic car enthusiasts and spread the word of Jowetts so we replenish the stock of Jowett Club members.

If you need assistance reaching the members to invite them then just contact me. We can do an email to members within a 100 mile radius. Yes it is that wide, especially if some accommodation suggestion is attached!
