From JCC UK Membership Secretary

Post by Forumadmin »

Mo noticed that the membership renewal form was not in the December Jowetteer. This is probably because of the surprise at us winning Club of the Year. Anyhow the renewal form should be in the January volume which should be with you early New Year.

Of course, you can renew using this form which hopefully is correct as I have not received AGM minutes to inform me of any changes. This form can be sent electronically or printed and posted.

You can also check your current details on-line by using Jowett Internet Services and if there are any changes, make them on the form and just click update when all changes are completed. The updated form will be sent to the Membership Sec electronically for inclusion in the Membership List but the changes will be immediately available on the First Aid Map . If you do things electronically you will probably also pay by BACS or VISA so just make sure you identify yourself when making such payments.

Please note the "Check details" form is currently being improved to make it easier to use and to check your input. Please pay particular note to requesting the Jowetteer electronically and to not wanting a printed copy of the Jowetteer. This will improve our carbon footprint and compensate for our little engines with a big pull!

Email Jowetteer and renewal on line

ELECTRONIC JOWETTEER
You can ask to receive the Jowetteer electronically and ask to stop JCC sending the printed Jowetteer to you (and thus save trees) using this simple form. Note that such a selection can also be made at renewal or any other time by using the Check Details form or the Renewal form.

MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL
You can go straight to the renewal form which will tell the JCC that you intend to send your subscription to them and by which payment method. This is quicker if your details have not changed as it also includes the Check Details form.

Help on using JowettInternetServices is here.

After some response from Chris Spencer on renewing on-line , I discovered a bug in the code.

Everything should now be OK so that you can use Jowett Internet Services for renewal, changing your details or just requesting to receive the Jowetteer by email.

Note the system also allows you to enter an alternative phone number and first aid codes so that you can request help or offer help to members. These codes will be available on the First Aid Map that I currently find very useful in locating members closeby or anywhere in the world.

If you have any problems with the system, please contact me.

Note that renewal can be done on-line and then you send BACS or VISA payment. http://jowett.org/join.htm

Or you can use spreadsheet that presents boxes for you to fill in and then save and email to membership sec and treasurer after you send BACS or VISA payment. https://jowettnet/forum/download/file.p ... &mode=view
