Blueprints, drawings & factory stuff
Having recently posted some pictures of factory blueprints to the gallery, I am curious if there is a physical repository for the blueprints I have. While I enjoy perusing them on occasion, should they not really be in a club library? Do we have anything like that?

I believe Noel would probably add these to the archive in Bradford that the club keeps, there certainly are a lot of physical documents held there - though for accessibility and also backup having it online as well makes a lot of sense. Probably worth an e-mail to him to see if he can help?
Jack.

Re: Blueprints, drawings & factory stuff
Apologies for hijacking this thread but it is a related topic so perhaps better than starting a new thread. . .
So, does anyone have a factory drawing of the Javelin/Jupiter gearbox housing and/or the clutch housing? I am particularly interested in the bolt/stud spacing at the interface between clutch housing [see photo] and the gearbox and also the stud spacing at the interface between gearbox housing and the tail shaft extension housing. In both cases, the stud locations appear to be awkward non-obvious dimensions, and while I have made measurements and got it about right [see sketch], it would be much better to actually go to the oracle and get it right.
In the case of the clutch housing to gearbox interface, I am drawing up a workshop fixture (which I will share here when it is done) to hold the gearbox during overhaul. Likewise accurate knowledge of the back face of the gearbox housing is necessary if one wants to make an overdrive adapter ring. Taking dimensions off the [manufacturing] drawing would be the easiest solution if the relevant drawings are available. If not, does anyone have access to a Faro Arm or similar: http://www.faro.com/en-us/products/metr ... m/overview ?
