Interesting development in making it easier to arrange closed roads for racing events, could mean an opportunity for more spirited driving at future rallies perhaps!

I certainly would like to see more events accessible to the public, things like the hillclimb at the Festival of Speed are great, but to get more people interested in motorsport I think it would be good if it was more accessible to the general public, with the appropriate controls obviously.

Re: Closed Roads for Scenic Tours?
Trevor and I had an interesting experience at the Telford stages. A man walking his dog closed the closed road special stage as he insisted it was a public right of way. Trevors's spin was televised on Top Gear after the stage was reopened when the man had walked his dog.
