Sending heavy bits for reconditioning.

Hi.
I might have to send 4 pre-war shock absorbers with all the linkages to VCSA in the near future.
Has anyone any idea of which outfit to use for the carriage. They're quite heavy.
I've only ever used the local post office for parcels, but have never sent anything as heavy as these.
Tony.

Tony - Double click on the link below - you have to regisiter but then you will receive various quotes from competing couriers - best sceiniro being is someone who is looking for return load work - we have used this service many times - everything from a small parcel to a complete vehicle - all done at very reasonable prices with good service

I've used Interparcel a fair bit for stuff that is expensive from the post office - they collect from you, you can choose what level of cover you need for insurance, just need to put the rough weight and size into the calculator.

They use regular courier companies like TNT and UPS, but you get a better deal than trying to use those companies direct for a one-off order.

Thanks Jack.
I used Interparcel yesterday, and via City Link sent a 10Kg parcel to South Croyden fo £14.99 which included £250 insurance value.
It was trackable using the tracking number they gave, and it arrived down South just after lunch today.
Interparcel is now in my 'Favourites' list.
Regards,
Tony.
